🌿 La fragilidad como verdad compartida
Reflexión íntima y pública desde mi autorretrato espiritual
✒️ La fragilidad no es derrota, sino transparencia.
✒️ Fragility is not defeat, but transparency.
He pasado noches enteras pensando en mi propia fragilidad.

🌿 Fragility as a Shared Truth
Intimate and public reflection from my spiritual self-portrait
✒️ Fragility is not defeat, but transparency.
Fragility is a word we often avoid. It makes us uncomfortable because it reminds us that we are not invulnerable, that life can break at any moment. Yet, as a poet, I have learned that fragility is also a fertile territory, a mirror that returns our purest humanity. We are all spiritually fragile, even if we disguise it with gestures of strength or masks of security.
Fragility is not a flaw, it is a condition. It is the reminder that we are made of time, emotions, doubts, wounds. And in that condition there is a beauty worth naming. Because only those who recognize their fragility can open themselves to others, build bridges, share their truth. Fragility humanizes us, equalizes us, brings us closer.
I have spent sleepless nights thinking about my own fragility. Not only the physical one, which manifests in fatigue or illness, but the spiritual one: the fragility that appears when doubt paralyzes me, when sadness visits me, when fear whispers that I am not enough. In those moments, fragility becomes a sleepless question without immediate answers. But also an opportunity: to write, to transform vulnerability into words, fragility into poetry.
Fragility is an invisible thread that connects us. We all feel it, even if we do not always confess it. And when someone dares to speak of it, a healing effect occurs: the reader recognizes themselves, feels accompanied, discovers they are not alone in their vulnerability. That is why writing about fragility is not an act of weakness, but of generosity. It is offering another person a mirror where they can look without fear.
Fragility also has a public face. It is not only what we live in silence, but what we share as a society. A people is fragile when it loses memory, when it is dragged by indifference, when it forgets its ability to dream. Recognizing that collective fragility is the first step to rebuilding ourselves, to recovering hope, to believing again in the strength of the common.
In my spiritual self-portrait, fragility occupies an essential place. It is the root of my writing, the engine of my sleepless nights, the source of my metaphors. Without fragility, there would be no poetry. Because poetry is born from what trembles, from what breaks, from what exposes itself. Poetry is, at its core, an act of shared fragility: the poet undresses in words and the reader recognizes themselves in them.
Fragility should not be confused with defeat. On the contrary, it is a form of transparency. It shows us without adornment, without defenses, without masks. And in that transparency lies an unexpected strength: the strength of truth. When we accept our fragility, we stop pretending and begin to live more authentically. We become more attentive, more humble, more capable of listening.
Perhaps fragility is also a path to healing. Because by recognizing it, we open the door to tenderness, empathy, solidarity. It allows us to look at others without judgment, to understand their pain, to accompany their silence. Fragility teaches us that we are not alone, that we all share the same condition, that we all need support at some point
