Hello fellow Steemians!
I just got a news article saying that a crypto investor named Trace Mayer has put a price target of $27,000 on Bitcoin by February 2018.
Before becoming a crypto investor I dabbled in stocks for a few years, if there is one thing that I learnt from trading stocks is that a price-tag is about as reliable as a chocolate fireguard. Not to mention the fact that most "professional" advice you can find online is just someone throwing random numbers in the air and hoping to nail one so they can sell their "How to become a gazillionaire investor" manual or get you to sign up to their "community" using phrases like "if you had invested in N back in 20XX you would be up %20,000!".
I'm not saying that this dude isn't savy, but most internet advice & analysis is garbage... Here, Bitcoin will be $10,000 by january 2018. Lets see how that one goes! 😄
I even remember hearing Bitcoin at $300,000 and $1,000,000 a couple of years ago...
Having said all of this, who is to say? 😅
