The incident occurred last month, when according to a internet firm from the region, they were out in the area trying to use a drone to make a video for a satellite internet service company.
The drone that they were using is estimated to cost around $6,000 and when it was flying above Captains Bay, that is when the eagle swooped down and attacked it, causing the device to fall and land in the bay.
And one quick search on Youtube will show that there are thousands of different videos showing eagles attacking a variety of drones.
It hasn't just been by accident either, in some instances there are eagles being trained to specifically target drones.
The Dutch police have also reportedly been using eagles to try and take down drones as well.
Drones have been attacked and/or taken down by birds, chimps, kangaroos, a ram, even by one very annoyed looking fisherman at the pier. It can clearly get very interesting for drone operators, they never know what they might see, or what might try to attack their property.
