Would you be surprised to find out that more democrats than republicans own cryptocurrency?

That's what one recent report has suggested.

This might come as a shock to some who often look at the right side of the political arena as if those individuals are more likely to be interested in finance matters. Why? Because of the fiscal conservative nature of the Republican party positions, which you could argue though is somewhat of a farce given how much they like to run up debt and irresponsible fiscal spending on their own interests. Due to that mislead assumption of conservative spending though it seems reasonable that they might be more open to cryptocurrency than those on the left.

Previously, some studies have indicated that Republicans are more likely to be business owners and fiscal responsibility of government is a big voting issue for many on the right.

Along with an interest in finance in general and any sort of fiscal spending conversations it is easy to see how the topic of cryptocurrency might fall into that space, simply as an extension of having an interest of finance and the stock market in general.

There are many around the U.S. who are interested in cryptocurrency and the market has grown substantially in the last several years to many ATMs being available and more businesses accepting cryptocurrency too, along with other products in the market and widespread diversification of goods and services.

There might be more on the left who own cryptocurrency but many on both sides still view the entire market as high risk.

Surveys from last year though show that over half of Americans might be interested in purchasing cryptocurrency and there are millions who have used it to make a purchase as well.

Despite it seeming that only a small percent of the population have a positive view on the market there are still many who engage with it and have used digital currency over the last several years.

The popular scandals that we hear about in the cryptocurrency space haven't seemed to dampen the market in a significant way as far as how many are familiar with and engaged in transactions or ownership of cryptocurrency.

These days it is estimated that tens of millions of Americans might be invested in cryptocurrency.

Even for those who aren't many have indicated according to various reports on the subject that they might be interested in getting into this market in the next year or so.

Who knows how much further this market might mature thanks to the continued interest that remains to be seen with millions in the U.S. alone who are open to the technology, along with millions of others around the world as well. As well, due to the many scandals that the industry has faced we know how quickly things can change and how political acceptance can make a big impact as well.
