Who could disagree with that? I mean, what sort of fascist would want to kill someone over a plant? Unfortunately, it's been going on for years, with too many people losing their lives and their livelihood because of a plant and other drugs.
Every individual should themselves hold the highest authority over their own body and on deciding what they want to put into it. If someone wants to consume cannabis, grow cannabis, sell cannabis, it's nothing short of tyrannical to suggest that they can't, and to tell them that you're willing to use the state to take their life if they do.
But what if someone consumes those plants and they hurt someone else because of it?
What if children start liking the plants?
What if someone drives after consuming the plant?
What if someone who grows those plants is forcing someone else to work for them and take drugs?
What if there is still a lot that we don't know about the benefits and risks associated with the plant?
It's still wrong to kill people over plants.
Harming people over plants because you are afraid that they will harm someone as a result of that plant, is nothing short of idiotic.
When you ask the state to get involved and to tell people how they should interact with a certain substance, you are essentially supporting the authority of government to ultimately take the lives of people who disobey that ordinance.
I dare you to challenge yourself to embrace freedom for others, not just yourself, and to contemplate the notion that it's time we stop caging and killing people over plants, no good has ever come of it. It doesn't keep communities safe and it hasn't decreased drug supply in any way shape or form.
