There are many who are dedicated to the long-term picture. We might have thought that some like Musk were too before dumping most of their holdings, however it looks like he still might be open to buying more in the future. They didn't sell any of their dogecoin though and it is no secret that Musk has been bullish on DOGE perhaps more than BTC when it comes to using that cryptocurrency to go about buying things.
For those who lost a great deal of value this year during one exchange closure or another they might never get back into the cryptocurrency space because the loss has been too painful.
The market might have seen a significant decline but things are far from over, despite the critics who revel at the thought of BTC slumping to $10k or lower. The market has recently recaptured a $1 trillion market cap and crazy enough there are some who are still anticipating that within a few years bitcoin could see new highs again perhaps $500k or more.
There are already a number of athletes who are getting paid in bitcoin and now political leaders too who have opted for the same. There are also companies who have services making it possible for just about any job to convert a portion of the paycheck into bitcoin so that employees can be paid this way.
The number of individuals getting involved in the space has continued to grow over the years and overall worldwide users might hit 1 billion by the end of this year
