As the cost of living increases and inflation gets worse around the world it is playing a critical role in diminishing the hope of many.
How are they supposed to think the future is going to get any better when they continue to struggle just to get by? Some individuals who are struggling financially have even taken to selling their plasma to earn enough money to keep a roof over their head and feed their families. That isn't the typical situation you might expect to see in a country like the United States which has a reputation around the world, thanks to the media and movies etc, for its prosperity.
