Lawmakers in NJ want to make sure that there won't be any drunken drone flying going on, so they've recently introduced new legislation that would make it illegal to operate a drone while drunk. This means that for those who do get caught flying around a drone while under the influence, they could spend several months in jail and face a fine.

It's alleged that at least 38 different states are considering similar new rules, banning citizens from flying drones while under the influence.

For those who want to become a little more familiarized with drones and the rules surrounding them, attending a drone workshop might be the best place for some to start. And the North Carolina Department of Transportation is planning to put on several workshops in the new year to help those become more familiar with the federal and state rules surrounding drones.
