Veterinarians around the United States and elsewhere are turning to consider CBD as a form of treatment for pets. Some surveys have found that almost 50 percent of owners are turning away from traditional Rx treatments and going for something with CBD for their pet.
It isn't just cats and dogs either, but a wide variety of animals.
Not only are the vets looking at this but so too are the owners of those pets. People just want something that might help their pet if the pet is in pain. Just as well, many medications can also be very costly for pets and if there is something that might be a cheaper solution, a natural choice, there will be a high demand for that product.
The variety for CBD pet treats continues to grow today. You can already find dog pet treats and cat treats, among other products.
One thing pet owners value most is transparency
There are many CBD products in the market that don't contain what they say they do and so there is that understandable caution that pet owners feel when reaching to try something like CBD for their pets.
A number of owners have reported in previous surveys that they were worried at first, but as much as 56 percent said that after using CBD that worry lessened for them.
More than 90 percent recommend using CBD oil to others.
A growing number of vets today are suggesting CBD oil products and other CBD items to their customers. While there might be some who have been very enthusiastic about encouraging the use of this product, many others are very slow to consider it and make that change for now.
Product innovation featuring CBD , for the pets market, happened to be one of the most discussed trends for 2019.
