THE JOURNEY
Between the strokes
words are spoken that influence and inspire
as circles spread into eternity
like the never-ending bond between Father and Son.
One that is only a thought away
one that cannot be broken by time and distance
one that encourages the boy to become a man
and reminds the man of the boy inside.
This give and take
like the ebb and flow of the waves
allows them to cherish the journey
knowing their destination will come.
