There is an old saying... “What goes up, must come down”.
In simpler times, such truths could be trusted. In modern times we have learned new tricks to keep things up.
Unfortunately, these new levitation schemes are showing weakness. The old time truths may yet win the day.
It is easy to find economic analysts who speak of bad times ahead. Most of them are old... like myself. Our pessimistic perspective may be from wisdom, or it may be from natural grumpy tendencies. Heredity is a frightening thing.
However, the current system is flawed. It cannot survive.
More specifically however, there is new hope in crypto currencies. 2018 has been a dismal year for the cryptos. I think it is safe to say... “What goes down, must come up”
We find ourselves in an up-Down-Up cycle. Traders attempt to jump in and out to improve their situation. I don’t trade well.
