My dog likes to chew on Pig Ears. I buy them as an occasional treat for her as a sign of affection.
Most of you have people who deserve an occasional treat. I am partially envious.
Looking back, I remember my mistakes. I seldom stopped to say thanks and I relied on known favorites rather than taking chances on variety.
Forgetting to stop and say thanks is the more serious mistake.
Tomorrow is the first day of August. Christmas is overly long in the future. Consider the surprise factor of buying small gifts a few months early.
