Years ago, I formed a habit of selecting a new (to me) food item each time I made a visit to the grocery store. My objective was to avoid routine dietary habits. I have avoided becoming ordinary.
Today I decided to explore new locations on my scooter. I did something I have never done before. It was therapeutic. I found myself smiling. Smiling is a personal tell.
One tell I have is when I find myself holding my keys in my hand rather than keeping them in my pocket. It is a subconscious reaction to having a desire to leave.
The point is the things we do without thought can help you improve your behavior. Doing something new may aid in discovering good and bad habits that you have unintentionally acquired.
None of us are perfect! Do something new and watch yourself for clues. From the ashes of disaster grow the roses of success.
Here is today’s beauty.
