Waahgwaan Jahmin peeps? I’m not feeling well and as a matter of fact I slept most of the day. But hey, gotta show up and keep the DashOut culture alive.
When choosing where to go when you eat out,it can be quite a challenge if you make it one. Many strive for new places but sometimes the tried and true may be a better option, because the truth is you probably haven’t tried everything on the menu. Such was the case last Friday, we went back to this Italian restaurant we visited a few short weeks ago. But this time I tried something new.
What really brings me back to this spot is actually the salad bar. My wish is that they make the salad bar available by itself. As it is now, you have to order a meal and the salad bar and drink is an upgrade value option. Come to think of it, are there any places that have all you can eat veggies 🥗? I think in a few years it will be normal as many are pivoting to a healthy lifestyle.
My wife went for a tomato based pasta dish that she mistakenly didn’t order the last time we were here ( how does that happen? Or is it just an excuse to come here again?). One thing I realize is that anytime we are here, we go for the seafood type pastas.
And we continued that trend but… no pasta for me today, I got a seafood pizza and I can’t believe it was the first time having it. It was amazing! Even the crust tasted great, my wife is the type of person to leave the crust in the box like it’s only there to hold the pizza and not actual food.🍕 But with this pizza, she ate the crust like it was the main part of the pie. This crust was slightly crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside and not dense. Hard to explain but I’ve never had anything like it.
I think when eating out with your partner, the best thing to do is order completely different dishes and share, that way you get a variety of foods and the tastebuds get a chance to dance to the different flavors. Damn! Look how big that plate of pasta looks 👀
