Many times we have very great and incredible ideas but we don’t know how to express them and they end up being discarded and even ignored because others don’t understand them. Throughout history many characters have come up with some very amazing ideas but the lack of communication skills has stop them from exposing their thoughts in a better way.
In our daily life happens all the time, how many times have you come up with an important idea that will improve your work but someone can say it in a clearer way and he ends up taking all the credit? this is a very frequent situation in our lives and we must learn little by little how to express ourselves better to obtain some rewards.
It is important to emphasize when we mention an idea we must show to the other person what he is going to gain from it, it is always good to mention the benefit that our idea is going to bring in order to convince him to be in our side and support our idea, with the support of others is much easier to get our idea taken into account.
We need to be very calm when we are exposing our ideas, we must speak with good arguments and we cannot show doubts about what we are saying, security is very important in this subject, we must see the people who are listening to us and we must accompany our speech with the respective gestures that will facilitate the understanding to the public. Prior to this of course we must do a good research and analysis to corroborate that our idea will bring many benefits and therefore can be accepted by others, seeing things from different points of view helps a lot when we have to put ourselves in the shoes of others to know if our idea will be useful.
These small techniques are very effective to prevent us from losing good opportunities and to improve our work groups or studies groups, ideas have a very important role in society since it came from the union of many of them and they are capable of transforming it, if we want to be part of that group of people who change the world with great ideas we must ensure we know how to show our ideas and we cannot let anyone take them because they are our property and we are the ones who must enjoy the benefits of the idea, this is very important because we must avoid plagiarism, respect the ideas of others and give them the credit they deserve show education and humanity, it is good to applaud others’ ideas and it should be mentioned that the theft of ideas causes much displeasure to the people affected.
When we are expressing ourselves we must do it with a lot of respect, if we insult our listeners they won’t want to continue debating ideas with us and they will simply ignore what we have to say because they don’t see us as a mature to have a healthy discussion that will facilitate the creation of new ideas. Also, our ideas need to be respected and we shouldn’t let people trample us just for saying what we think, in these cases we should be as assertive as possible and imply that our opinion is worth the same as those of others, say what we think makes us feel part of our groups.
If we have a good idea we’ve to say it in a respectful way and we cannot pass up the opportunity to comment it because of fear, many people lose a lot of opportunities for fear and don’t know how good it feels to say what we think, but even if we're sure that our idea is very powerful, conquering the penalty and the fear is fundamental to express ourselves and give us to understand.
