Hello Bees! We all entered into a new year and I hope it brings joy and happiness in your life. How was your first day of the year? Did you celebrate it with fireworks?
Boxing Match & Fireworks:
Before I tell you about my new year's night, let's go back a little bit. I got an invite for watching a boxing match of a close relative boxer. It was his 3rd official match. I wanted to go as after that we had plans to visit Bahria town to watch fireworks. Bahria town is a scheme by Malik Riaz (a wealthy individual in Pakistan). So, I had a chance to watch my life's first boxing match as well as the fireworks of the new year.
Task:
It would have been exciting if I took this turn in life but instead I was on my laptop working on Learning Managing System usability. I sacrificed my pleasure over important stuff. It was a 3 persons task but all others were celebrating the new year so responsibility fall on my shoulder and I completed it within the deadline. I don't know why people assign deadlines or exam schedules in the new year. :)
Shopping and Outing:
I was too tired and slept until around 12:30. When I woke up, the first thing I checked was my whatsapp, and saw a text from a friend. My friend was planning to go out with someone. I told him to come to my place and we will do breakfast together. I was still in bed and sleepy when he reached my place.
We talked a little bit and time passed quickly. He recently came back from Malaysia so he was updating me about his life and time spent in Malaysia. We decided to eat out. Most things are not available at day time in Pakistan, people prefer eating out at night. Our options were limited. I told him about the famous Biryani shop "Farhan Biryani" and we decided to eat there.

The biryani was YUM. I heard a lot about Farhan Biryani but it was my first time eating it. The whispers about its taste were true. How can I eat something without dew (Dew was included)? xD
After eating biryani, we decided to do shopping. It was overall a good experience. Picking from a lot of stuff is a confusing task still I got what I needed. Here is a picture for you guys:

You can observe the matching pairs in the picture. I was also tired of carrying notes without a wallet so I bought a new one (I gave the last one recently to one of my friends). Also, my sister studies Quranic education, and she wanted to do house chores while listening to Quran so I bought one Bluetooth AirPods. I will also use them from time to time for gaming or exercising.

After shopping, we still had some time left. We decided to visit Mazar-e-Quaid. The mausoleum is the resting place of Pakistan's founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah. I expected more people to be there on 1st Jan but at least when we visited it was not crowded. We enjoyed ourselves a little here and there then decided to go home.
After coming home, I and my friend enjoyed watching a movie along with a cup of tea, rolls, biscuits, etc.
