Hi there. In this next travel post, our travel group arrive in Meizhou, China from the Shenzhen high speed train.
We get settled in our hotel, meet family friends in Meizhou and definitely eat.
We arrive at Yixin Hotel in Meizhou. It was recommended from our family friend who lives nearby. I do plan on a hotel review on this soon.

After our travel group settled down in the hotel rooms, we went out for a walk and then snacks. It was September 1, 2024 on a hot summer day in China. Summers in China can be pretty hot and humid. Somewhat worse than Toronto summer but not as bad Dubai summers.
Top left is Portuguese style egg tarts. The tall cup is mango smoothie I think.
Our travel group were treated to a large dinner in a private room of a restaurant. There is a lot of food available. A fair bit of fried food, meats, shrimp and fish.
There is also a salad with meat (beef I think), fish and a dessert bowl.
After the long dinner meal we head back to our hotel to conclude day 1 (or the half day) in Meizhou. Here are some other photos that I took.
