The ruleset for this week's challenge
- Reverse Speed - Units with lower speeds will attack before units with higher speeds, attack accuracy based on speed will also be reversed
The ruleset that I managed to get
- Rulesets - Reverse Speed
- Mana Cap - 48
- Active Elements - Fire, Water, Life & Death
Here's my starting lineup
Summoner: Contessa L'ament
- As Reverse Speed was the only ruleset active in this battle the main thing I was looking out for was that I wouldn't pick a summoner that granted my monsters speed as that would leave me in a disadvantage for the rest of the battle
- I decided to got with Contessa L'ament because I believed that I had the best team in death element for Reverse Speed
- Also I think -1 range damage is relatively safe option to go with in all battled as most enemies like to play ranged monsters in there team
1st Position: Harklaw
- I think Harklaw is all-round amazing card in any ruleset battle and also works for Reverse Speed as hes speed is 2 which is second best
- Also level 2 Harklaw has some great abilities being Shield and Immunity both worked great in this battle
- Shield - Reduced damage from melee and ranged attacks
- Immunity - This unit is immune to negative status effects
2nd Position: Usut
- He was one of the monsters I wanted to play when picking death element in this battle as hes speed was 1 and to be quite frankly honest even tho Bloodlust increases speed after kill and isn't the best ability in this battle I still think Bloodlust is one of the coolest abilities to look at in game
- Bloodlust - This monster revels in the glory of combat and becomes more dangerous as the battle goes on. Every time it defeats an opponent, it gets +1 to all stats
- Also being one of the new soulbound cards I haven't really seen them a lot in battles so got to play them myself
3rd Position: Sand Worm
- Nothing really to say here other than I would have wished he was level 1 not level 3 as he grants +1 speed going from level 1 to level 2
- But to believe he made it up with hes huge 5 melee damage coupled with Sneak to eliminate enemies backline
- Sneak - Targets the last unit on the enemy Team instead of the first unit
4th Position: Haunted Spider
- One of my go to's when I play death element
- For only 3 mana you get 2 ranged damage and Poison
- Poison - Attacks have a chance to apply poison, which does automatic damage to the target at the beginning of each round after the poison is applied
- Also has 2 speed which is totally fine for this battle as I don't have enough 1 speed monster anyway
5th Position: Dhampir Stalker
- She was my last monster to be picked and even tho she isn't the greatest monster in my opinion I still played her as she has high damage and low speed both which are great for this battle
- Also she has True Strike so nothing is left to chance
- True Strike - This unit's attacks cannot miss
6th Position: Octopider
- Although hes speed is 3 which isn't the greatest for Reverse Speed I still played him as he has great damage, a lot of health (serves as backline tank) and also has the Demoralize ability
- Demoralize - Reduces the Melee attack of all enemy units by 1
Here's how the battle went
1st Round
- After 1st Round my plan had worked, my summoner reduced two of enemies ranged monsters attacks, my Octopider totally canceled enemies Tarsa +1 melee and my Harklaw didn't get Demoralize by my enemies Disintegrator
- Also I saw my Usut was the only one with 1 speed in my team he was going to attack first in the second round and kill my enemies backline and grant himself Bloodlust stack
2nd Round
- After 2nd Round my Harklaw died sadly but my Usut got the Bloodlust takedown so I was still hopeful
3rd Round
- 3rd Round was huge confidants boost for me as my Usut got another Bloodlust takedown and even tho hes speed was getting quite up there I was fine with it
- the only thing that still bothered me was hes backline mage with Double Strike but at least I saw my Sandworm was going to take him out in the next round
4th Round
- At this point I was 100% sure I would win this battle as I had almost all of my monsters left and he had only two
5th Round
- In the last round I simply cleaned up my enemies board and took the victory

Summary
- I felt really good about this battle in the team builder, I had taken to account all the possible scenarios and built one of the best teams that was possible for me at that point
- In the end I felt really good and took home the victory
