The ruleset for this week's challenge

image.png

  • Little League - Only units and summoners with a mana cost of 4 or less may be used

The ruleset that I managed to get

image.png

  • Rulesets - What Doesn't Kill You, Little League & Up to Eleven
  • Mana Cap - 12
  • Active Elements - image.png image.png image.png image.png

Here's my starting lineup

Summoner: Mylor Crowling

  • With the ruleset that I got I felt like Mylor Crowling would be a great fit for my team
  • Firstly because the mana was so low 3 mana summoner was the only way to go and secondly because Thorns is one of the best summoner abilities in my opinion
1st Position: Xenith Monk

  • Xenith Monk was my main tank for this battle
  • Main reason I like Xenith Monk here a lot is his Heal ability
  • Heal - Restores a third of the max health to this Unit's health each round
2nd Position: Furious Chicken

  • Nothing really to say here other than why not play Furious Chicken he costs 0 mana when you have room for him of course
3rd Position: Chaos Agent

  • Next up another low mana monster
  • Hopefully Chaos Agent would be able to tank at least 1 or 2 hits and damage my enemies monsters with Thorns
  • Dodge - Has a 25% chance of evading melee or ranged attacks
4th Position: Fungus Fiend

  • And another 0 mana monster just because the mana was so low and I still had a lot of room left on board
5th Position: Creeping Ooze

  • And last 1 mana monster is Creeping Ooze
  • I like him a lot because his Slow ability
  • Slow - Reduces the Speed of all enemy Units by 1
6th Position: Uraeus

  • Love this card so much because of how many stats you get for low mana
  • For 3 mana you get 2 melee damage (with Sneak), 2 speed, 1 armor and 2 hp
  • Sneak - Targets the last unit on the enemy Team instead of the first unit

Starting board

image.png

  • Already after seeing the starting board I was confident I would win because my enemy played full melee team and I had the best summoner to counter it
  • There still was a chance that he would out power me but I just a feeling I had enough health to take him on
  • but the only why to find out is to start the battle and have a look

Here's how the battle went

1st Round

image.png

  • After 1st Round my theory was correct and the battle was almost won already
  • As my enemy only had 1 melee monster left it was just down for me to wait till he is also down
2nd Round

image.png

  • In the 2nd Round I sadly lost my Xenith Monk to furious Antoid Platoon
  • But it didn't made any difference and who he only had 1 hp left
3rd Round

image.png

  • It took me 1 turn to kill my enemies last standing monster
  • After his Antoid Platoon had fallen I took the victory
  • Battle Replay Link

Summary

  • This battle was definitely heavily one sided but still fun to watch
  • I believe the strategy to take away from this battle is the Thorns and Amplify ability combo
  • If you also would like to hop on the Splinterlands train feel free to use my Referral
