My headcold is not quite gone yet but feeling so much better than this past week. So much so that I at least got my 5000 steps in for the day. 馃槉
It's a beautiful beach day here on the island.
I had an interesting walk on the beach with hubby.
My partner in crime
We've got the JIOI Indian Ocean Island games and a part of it is hosted on the soccer field adjacent to Mon Choisy main beach.

Much excitement reigning between the locals and even some vuvuzelas involved.... Reminiscent of the 2010 soccer world cup that was held in South Africa.
Furthermore they are busy working very hard on stopping the erosion of the beach and putting measures in place.
Erosion measures
We're assuming that this big 'square' of rocks that has been deposited here is part of the long term solution. Very curious to see the eventual outcome.
It's still quite windy but the trees shelters the beach against most of it to such an extent that we even chanced a quick dip in the sea. A quick one... 馃槀
Found a tiny flower and a huge leaf. Such contrasts at time. All in all a good couple of hours spent outside in the fresh air.
