If you think this book is going a step by step or a road map to become the greatest salesman in your company you are going to be let down. That is not what this book is.
My Grandpa loved this book. He ran a small farm equipment sale and repair shop back in the day. He was not a pushy salesman but most people said he was one of the best they have ever know.
My mom had said he loved this book and I decided to read it. I am trying to connect more with my example from my heritage and how I can be like them. I was named after this grandpa but never got the chance to meet him. He passed away before I was born. I have enjoyed learning more about him as I ask and read about him.

The book
The story is about a young man who is trained by a well todo business man with lots of stored. It set way back in biblical times. The mentor passed along 10 scrolls for him to live by.
He is given 1 scroll at a time that he has to implement in his life. They are all good and you will have to read the book to get all of them but scroll 3 is probably my favorite.
He must read the scroll multiple times a day for 30 days as well.
In the Orient young bulls are tested for the fight arena in a certain manner. Each is brought to the ring and allowed to attack a picador who pricks them with a lance. The bravery of each bull is then rated with care according to the number of times he demonstrates his willingness to charge in spite of the sting of the blade. Henceforth will I recognize that each day I am tested by life in like manner. If I persist, if I continue to try,if I continue to charge forward, I will succeed.I will persist until I succeed.
I will persist until I succeed.
Loved this and am trying my best to make sure i keep pushing even when it’s hard.
The principal is that is you make small habit changes you will become better.
Yes this book seems a little cheesy but it’s really quick read and causes you to think about these principals. Not for everyone for sure. Easy read though if you give it a shot.
