Would you like Strawberry Chocolate Sand? / いちごチョコレート味の砂とは？

I don’t know who opened this but it’s probably my husband. My daughters should know how to open these kind of things. There are “open here” lines on the top of the box.
He must be in such a hurry to eat this “Rich Strawberry Chocolate Sand”. I hope it was yummy. There was nothing left for me.
Haha...Strawberry Chocolate Sand...actually, it was cookies or some sort of treat came in this box. Not strawberry flavoured sand.
Japanese like to shorten the words. We call sandwich “sando” in Japanese. They probably tried to translate that back to English and failed.
Chocolate is sometimes shorten to “Choco” in Japanese. They didn’t make a mistake there.
They may made a mistake on purpose because theses mistakes get attention as Engrish is popular nowadays.

誰が開けたのか？多分、旦那様ですけどね。こーゆーの娘たちは開け方知っているはずです。
それにしても、どれだけお腹が空いていたのか、、、こんな開け方をしなくても良いと思いますけどね。

ふと、次女ちゃんがパッケージの英語がおかしいのに気づいて、砂が美味しかったと言ってきました。
“Chocolate Sand”と書かれています。
チョコは　Chocolate に直したけど、サンドは　Sandwich に直さなかったのね。。。
わざとかな？
Engrish なんて言葉も出来るくらいですからね、間違いであっても宣伝効果がありそうです。
