This is the Xi An city wall that used to protect the old city from enemies. It has many gates where you can enter and climb up the walls by stairs
This is the south gate where we entered
At night there is a traditional show call Chang An impression
It is staged on this place just inside the gate
After climbing the stairs you can walk around the wall
You can also rent a bicycle or golf cart to take you around. Golf cart is a bit expensive, so bicycle and walking are the popular choice

You can enjoy the view of old Xi An and the modern side.
As you can see on the left which is inner wall side its traditional buildings, and on the right or the outer wall side its tall buildings. The inner city is preserved so tall buildings are only allowed outside the wall
