win a share of the post rewards! This time, we launch a new 2-month challenge with the focus on pure gaming creativity. This edition is all about the games we build, repair, customize, and bring to life with our own hands. It doesn't matter if you craft a board game, restore retro hardware, or if you rebuild a game you played in the past, let's fill our DIY community with the:
Our first two-month contest wrapped up with great results! Running from November through January with no specific theme, you brought us everything from upcycled pet furniture to handcrafted Christmas decorations, woodworking projects to textile creations. The extended timeline gave everyone more room to develop ambitious projects or finish multiple projects without time pressure and additionally, the prize pool is bigger :D
Thank you for your dedication and the passion you put into every build! Big thanks to everyone who joined this time:

A note about our new format: We've decided to keep our contests running every two months for now. This gives you more time to perfect your projects, allows us to offer bigger prize pools than last year and to counter-act the lack of engagement we all experience lately because of the crypto world. Quality over quantity - we can't wait to see what you'll create with the extra time!
Let's create projects that celebrate gaming through our own hands. Build board games from scratch, decorate your gaming console, craft gaming accessories, or create full-blown tabletop experiences. Your hands, your rules, your game!
Because gaming brings people together from young to old and sparks creativity that can last a full lifetime. Through handmade projects we can build the games we always wanted to play, honor the classics we love, and customize our gaming experience. It doesn't matter if you're a seasoned crafter or first-time creator: Let's craft, play, and innovate.
Possibilities are endless, whether you work with wood, electronics, cardboard, or fabric. Here are some ideas to inspire you:
As always, we encourage the use of natural or recycled materials whenever possible. Old controllers, cardboard boxes, broken electronics, scrap wood, fabric scraps, or unused craft supplies can all become something amazing. Let's keep our gaming sustainable and creative 🌎
Thank you for making gaming greener and more hands-on!
