“I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.” Phil 4:13
As believers nothing defines your life other than what is found in Christ. Once a man is found in Christ that is the only thing that defines the man. In Christ the limitations of our natural families cannot define or limit us.
The Church of Christ which is his body is the called out ones. We are called out of darkness into God’s marvellous light. We are called out of the corruptions of this world into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. We are called out of sin into righteousness. We are called out of things that defiles to things that edifies.
In Christ his potentials and capacities literally becomes our own. We must understand that by the process of regeneration we have put on Christ. We have ceased to exist by ourselves, Christ has become our life.
Whatever Christ did we can also do. Wherever Christ could have gone we can go. According to scriptures Jesus himself declared that the works he did we’ll do also and even surpass what he did. Literally speaking there are some things that Christ did not do, something like getting married. But the issues we should face are what if Jesus had wanted to get married could it have been a problem for him? If Jesus had been a business man could he had run into a loss? The answers are obvious. Whatever was possible for him is also possible for us. It was impossible for him to be stranded. At every tight corner there was always a way out for him. He had an experience of supernatural supplies on several occasions. The storm obeyed him. The fish responded to him. These are the possibilities in Christ. This is what defines our lives today. Not Mr and Mrs So so so and So. Thank God for them, but their limitations have ceased to be our limitations.
##CONFESSION:
In Christ there are no more limitations on my life. What I can do and where I can go has no limits. I have a life far bigger than my natural background.
