“And he said unto him, oh my Lord wherewith shall I save Israel? Behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house" Judges 6:15
Gideon was a young man that God was committing an assignment to. He could not figure out how on earth he would be able to do what God was asking him to do.
The limitations were real, they were things he had lived with all his life.
His family was the poorest in Manasseh. In the poor family he was the least. His case was so complicated.
The mistake that Gideon was making was that he was allowing his family limitations to define his life. This could happen to any of us without even knowing. There is a life bigger and better than what could have been the limitations in our families.
Because we have lived all our lives in our particular family setting could have shaped our thought pattern and influence our expectations about life.
Now that we are redeemed we must understand that we now belong to the richest and the most powerful family on the face of the earth. We are baptised into the body of Christ. In this family there is no failure. Jesus the first born in this family is the most successful personality that ever lived.
In this family we are redeemed from every curse that must have ravaged in our natural families. In this new family our inheritance is first of all spiritual. It is not limited by the circumstances of this world. We can be as successful and blessed as we desire in God. The limitations are broken off your life already. Be the best you were born to be. In Jesus Name. Remain bless
