Out for a walk into town the other day and I came across a few trees that have suffered badly in the recent high winds. It seems that every winter now there are trees down and the winds are higher.
This one was blocking the road and had to be cleared by the council, luckily there were no cars coming when it fell as the road is really close.
One or two have been down for a while and are now well weathered.
So they look amazing in monochrome with some great texture.
Looking at these roots there will be some more down soon but at least they are not close to the road. So no worries about driving into town at the moment.
It’s times like this Hivers I wish I had a wood burning stove in the living room and a chainsaw and this would be my heating for the next year all sorted.
