So was it a flying snake..... What do you think?

I was having a walk with the family the other evening, and then I felt a really intense sting and burning sensation on my arm. I immediately thought that it must have been a Bee-sting (However I didn't find the usual Venom sack that they leave).
It was only when I got home and into the light that I noticed the "two" marks - more usually associated with a snake bite.

I know (and I'm sure that those at @teamaustralia can confirm) Australia is a dangerous place filled with Spiders, Sharks, Crocodiles, and of course the dreaded "Drop Bear",

but have we now graduated to having 2 meter long invisible Flying Snakes?
Or was it something else?
