Today I had my monthly dinner, a leg and thigh from a chicken. I think those are yummy, but they're not the best for my stomach.
You see, most people don't understand that I need the hair and the skin and the bones of a whole rodent in order to satisfy all my nutritional needs.
The store where I lived, up until I was about six weeks old, had promised my owner that they would always have a supply of rats for me to eat. They have not kept that promise.
That's just a problem that my owner has to solve.
Every time I finish eating, my owner takes me to the bathtub where I calm down from my excited hunting instincts. I get quite excited when I'm eating because I only get to do it once every month. My older cage-mate only eats every six months.
The bathtub is very slippery and I need something to hang on to in order to go anywhere. I get a very heavy milk jug to hang on to. I only let go of it after my head is up over the edge when I'm getting out of the bathtub. Wherever my body bends is like a hand for me to hang on with.
My towel is always waiting in a fixture right next to the bathtub so I can dry off the bottom of my body But my owner makes me go back in to the tub if I have not rinsed off all of the scent of the food I was eating.
People don't understand that I get really crazy when I smell raw meat or blood because that's how I hunt. Well, I'm in the tub getting clean without any soap. My owner is washing his hands and changing his clothes in case they have any scent of chicken or rats.
When both of us are clean and smelling good, then I crawl out onto the towel, lay on it, and he wraps the towel around me. Then I go slitherin through it to dry myself off.
In case some o you have not seen my other posts, my name is Goldie for obvious reasons, I am an Albino Burmese Python, a SPS (single pet snake), and I like hunting, eating and exploring the entire house, which I get to do because I am too big to hide. Thank you for stopping in.
