Puppy love? hmm. Well, I call it another way of getting your heart shattered. I know that all of us experienced and went through this kind of situation during their young age. Of course, puppy love is a romantic love that is felt by a child or teenager and that is not considered by adults to be real love.
It happened years ago, I was still 14 years old. I met a guy who was kinda sporty. His nose was perfect and his eyes were quite mesmerizing. He was my crush. He played a sport called arnis every afternoon during 3-4 o'clock, they would practice besides our classroom. I would catch a glimpse of him as he practised. Later on, he noticed me, and because I was pretty, he also had a crush on me. He courted me but I knew that we were too young. So I asked him to wait, and so he waited patiently. After 3 months I said "yes", even though I didn't want to. Because I was afraid that he would get tired of waiting for me, and I didn't want to lose him. We lasted for only a year and 3 months.
Way back then I used to think that it would be "us" against the world till the end of time. But I was wrong. We were too young to know what love really is. And so, I payed more attention to my studies. I kept the busy bees in and the butterflies out. I'm smart enough, but I still need to gain more knowledge about every little thing in this world full of mysteries before I enter the kingdom of love.
