Should you consider d.tube/steemit as your mainstream profession and only source of livelihood?
Well today I try to clear down few bits by explaining 4 major criteria included in this whole process, thank me later :p
DON'T QUIT WHAT YOU ARE CURRENTLY PURSUING:
Thats right ! dont yet dive in heads in to this ocean, you'll drown !!
infact, this applies for any and every new job you are willing to take up. dont take your present job for granted ! if you are earning a livelihood outta it, respect that and stick to that while you measure the pros & cons of the new options you wanna explore.
DON'T GET TEMPTED BY OTHER PEOPLE'S SUCCESS:
The green will always be greener on the other side. dont be befooled by other people's success and the huge numbers you see below their steemit posts. i mean no1 becomes a millionaire overnight, right? you have to go through a very effortful journey and understand the whole working behind steeemit and d.tube world to reach a stage where your posts would earn you a penny ! (which, I am sure, it will)START PART-TIME:
Dont start taking days off from your job to give d.tube time. start by giving an hour or so per day to steemit and d.tube. once you find that you'll easily earn a handsome amount outta it, go whole in and mainstream this platform. but until then, give little time here and concentrate on your current job as well.CRYPTOCURRENCY IS SUBJECT TO MARKET RISKS:
Thats right ! we get paid here via steem, which one of the thousands cryptocurrency in the market. hence, it is no exception in being subject to market risk. i am not trynna scare you, but imagine your post earned 200$ and suddenly the crypto-market crashes and all you are left with is "ashes". wow! that rhymed ! (:p no puns intended). hence, keep a backup always in your hand so as to support you when you need. To conclude, i would just like to say that d.tube/steemit sure is a great platform to jump start your life, but it's never advisable to keep all your eggs in one basket !!
