How about we call ourselves THRIVERS?

I'm putting my suggestion forth to the community for us to be called THRIVERS....(T)H(R)IVE(RS).

According to the Cambridge dictionary the word thrive means:

to grow, develop, or be successful

Everbody is talking about quicker development, growth on Hive now that we have gotten rid of ninja mined stake so it makes kind of makes sense.

Thriver:

one who thrives, or prospers

I've seen Hive account@mattclarke suggest calling us Survhivers. Maybe he mentioned it as a joke :) Calling yourself survivor screams of victim mentality and that's not a good starting point:

Victim
In victim mentality, we identify with our trauma and pain and hold that suffering close. It is our focus and we are stuck.

Survivor
Survivors are in the healing stage. They have been a victim. It may be a severely dysfunctional family situation, abuse or a traumatic event.

Thriver
The biggest difference between a Survivor and a Thriver is that the Survivor is emotionally tied to the past and a Thriver has let their past go.

Thrivers grow and expand, but they don’t need fixing. They don’t feel limited by brokenness.

The only problem I see is that it doesn'r roll of the tongue quite easy.

And even if the community doesn't like the name the word THRIVE could be used as a slogan for the HIVE landing page.

HIVE ... Go forth and THRIVE!

HIVE ... A home (place) where you can THRIVE!

Maybe some designers can come up with some fancy design with that slogan. Tagging Hive account@olegw, Hive account@daltono, Hive account@roelandp, Hive account@nateaguilla for this and anybody else that's into design.
