i thought lots about war and why human fight n killing each other. There was some stuff happened in my life what made me try to find out all of this. The thing is that i will never find out . The only thing i can do - i can try to stay good in all that mess...i will try to treat the people around me like i wanted to get treaten.
In the "children in war series" i took photographies and put them in another context. Most of the time there are animals. These animals are kind of everything these kids should have- like a friend, somebody they could talk to, someone who share them fear but also joy. The animals are guardian animals and they are representing hope. These kids they did not choose to live there- we abandoned them- it is not some buildings, citys etc. get destroyed. We destroy these kids and with them all hope and future.
The painting shows a lil girl and a sparrow. On the ground in the sand u can see shadows. The shadow is her own and the shadow of another person. The truth is that a soldier was standing in front of this girl pointing his gun at her...
at the end the question is - "for what reason we do all of that? "
