I would have to say that my favorite thing about Steemit is that, unlike most social media platforms, since there is money involved, it makes me reconsider if I should even bother to post thoughts, ideas, etc.
This is a great thing, in my opinion, as I am probably not the only person who thinks this way, and therefore, the overall quality of posts on this site will likely stay at a higher quality than most social media sites.
