Monomad: Important Structures of Buenos Aires [ENG/ESP]
Buenos Aires and its surrounding provinces are characterized by large structures and important buildings in different styles and concepts and in this post I will highlight some of them among which we will have basilicas, office buildings, transport headquarters, among others and we will start mentioning the basilica or cathedral of Mar del Plata.
A cathedral that is an icon of the city with neo-Gothic style and that at the time of this post is 116 years old located in the central hull of the city of Catholic worship and is a national historical heritage inaugurated in the early last century. The cover photo has my son as the protagonist in portrait ☺️
Buenos Aires y sus provincias que la rodean se caracterizan por las grandes estructuras y edificaciones importantes en distintos estilos y conceptos y en este post destacaré algunas de ellas entre las cuales tendremos basílicas, sedes de oficinas, edificios de centrales de transportes, entre otros y que empezaremos mencionando la basílica o catedral de Mar del Plata.
Una catedral que es icono de la ciudad con estilo neogótico y que al momento de este post tiene 116 años de antigüedad ubicado en el casco central de la ciudad de culto católico y es patrimonio histórico nacional inaugurado a principios del siglo pasado. La fotografía de portada tiene como protagonista en retrato a mi hijo ☺️
On the other hand we have the central station of Argentine trains located in the neighborhood of retiro in which it is a structure that houses the departure and arrival of trains as origin and destination being this a head station, located in front of the Plaza Fuerza Aerea Argentina where the famous Monumental tower is located.
This station has at least 105 years since its inauguration being part of the historical monuments of the country since 1997.
Por otra parte tenemos la estación central de trenes argentinos ubicada en el barrio de retiro en la cuál es una estructura que alberga la salida y llega de trenes como origen y destino siendo ésta una estación de cabecera, situada frente a la plaza fuerza aérea Argentina donde se encuentra la famosa torre Monumental.
Ésta estación tiene al menos unos 105 años desde su inauguración formando parte de los monumentos históricos del país desde el año 1997.
Another of the most important buildings is the Barolo Tours palace located in the neighborhood of Monserrat in the city of Buenos Aires, which has a building that sympathizes with the divine comedy and its apartments, floors and spaces are classified according to this work.
The museum of art Tigre also called by its acronym in Spanish MAT is one of the most important and emblematic buildings of the city, in this case located in the province of Buenos Aires north zone. It is an art museum of neoclassical style that houses numerous works of art of different authors of the country.
Otros de los edificios más importantes se trata del palacio Barolo Tours ubicado en el barrio de Monserrat de la ciudad de Buenos Aires la cual tiene una edificación que simpatiza con la divina comedia y sus departamentos, pisos y espacios están clasificados según ésta obra.
El museo de arte Tigre también llamado por sus siglas en español MAT es uno de los edificios más importantes y emblemáticos de la ciudad, en este caso situado en la provincia de Buenos Aires zona norte. Es un museo de arte de estilo neoclasico que alberga numerosas obras de arte de diferentes autores del país.
Finally we have the Paz Palace which is also located in the Retiro neighborhood in front of the San Martin square and is a building characterized by its architectural style with standards of the school of fine arts in Paris belonging to José C. Paz and also declared a national historic monument.
Its use was exclusively military although it currently functions as a hotel and is about 118 years old since the beginning of its construction, inside it has structures or spaces with different styles such as neo-Gothic, Baroque and others.
This is a small sample of some important buildings of the city of an extensive list that we will gradually develop over time.
Para finalizar tenemos el palacio Paz el cual se encuentra ubicado también en el barrio de Retiro frente a la plaza San Martin y es un edificio caracterizado por su estilo arquitectónico con estándares de la escuela de bellas artes de París perteneciente a José C. Paz y declarado también monumento histórico nacional.
Su uso fué exclusivamente militar aunque en la actualidad funciona como hotel y tiene alrededor de 118 años de antigüedad desde los inicios de su construcción, en su interior posee estructuras o espacios con diferentes estilos como en neogótico, barroco entre otros.
Ésta es una pequeña muestra de algunos edificios importantes de la ciudad de una lista extensa que poco a poco iremos desarrollando con el tiempo.
