this is exactly why i don't do perps dex tier lists.

been in this space long enough to know things can change all of a sudden
back in april 2025 nobody wanted to touch variational 
back in february 2025, lighter @Lighter_xyz didn't look like it was going to make it either. they didn't even have tp/si until around april (e. a few months later it became one of the top perp dexs, had a successful tge, and has continued shipping enough to stay relevant as a top 5 perp dex.
only a handful of people actually knew about aster @Aster_DEX until cz started shilling it. one endorsement rewrote the entire narrative overnight. we all know how that ended.
most of the perp dex tier lists you see today are just engagement farming from people who don't even use perp dexs, they're just hustling elon stimmy
that's why i wouldn't write off projects like hibachi 
@N1Chain or others just because the current metrics don't look great. one product update, one partnership, one marketing stunt, or one strong market cycle can completely change the narrative.
and if they're able to tge into a euphoric market, voilà.
always do your own research... and pray for a little luck. sometimes that's the difference between writing off the next avantis and catching it early.
