A landfill is a place I frequently visit to capture photographs that, in my view, possess a unique appeal. There, one finds cattle, storks, and waste pickers鈥攁ll vying for the fresh garbage that is transported daily from our city and dumped in this area.
I arrived late this morning; the sun was already climbing higher, yet the waste pickers continued their search for various discarded items. The cattle and storks, not wanting to be left behind, joined the fray across the site. I took the opportunity to snap a few images for this edition of Monomad.
