I'm back in action today after a few days off for health reasons, but I'm back and raring to go! To start getting active again, I decided to take an afternoon walk. Fortunately, the weather was cool, not sunny, which I thought was ideal for my return.
La ruta que elegí para mi caminata fue por los alrededores de mi vecindario. No quería ir muy lejos, solo quería estirar las piernas y respirar un poco de aire fresco. Esta ruta la conozco bien, ya que a veces la hago cuando tengo que ir al centro de la ciudad y tomar el transporte público. Vivir en una parte alta tiene sus desventajas, como tener que bajar muchas cuadras para llegar al transporte, pero al menos me ayuda a fortalecer las piernas y mantenerme saludable.
The route I chose for my walk was around my neighborhood. I didn't want to go too far, I just wanted to stretch my legs and breathe some fresh air. I know this route well, as I sometimes take it when I have to go downtown and take public transportation. Living in a higher part has its disadvantages, like having to walk down many blocks to get to the transportation, but at least it helps me to strengthen my legs and stay healthy.
