Wildlife Photography : Enjoying a meal on an island in Chobe River, Botswana
On an island in Chobe River these three hippopotamus are grazing in the afternoon sun. There are three, but one is almost hidden behind the two others. Thse three were the only hippos we saw that day. The Chobe National Park is located in northern Botswana, as the largest of its kind in the country. Even though the park has a large variety of animals, its known for its large herds of elephants. We did see more elephants than any other animal, so it was nice to see these three.
