More than 30 artists have participated in the 4-day long street art festival in Aalborg. Both local and international artists have produced amazing work at "End of the Line", which is currently Denmark's largest art and music festival. In addition to seeing the artists in action, musical concerts were also held. The 3rd edition of the festival took place from 13th to 16th of August 2026 in the city park called Karolinelund.
This year I was lucky to be able to get to experience the festival from the day it started. The first time it was arranged was in 2024. I did go to Aalborg that year, but I was one day too late. They had already packed the paintings. That was a huge disapointment. But the organizers informed that the festival would be held every year.
I got the chance to go to the park everyday and in this way follow the artists through the process. The photos above shows 4 artist working on their project on the second and third day of the festival. The place is a small square opposite of Karolinelund. These are the only works placed outside the park.
This is how the work looked on the fourth and final day. I was here early in the morning and therefore have the place almost all to myself. Beautiful paintings. Definitely great to have been able to follow the development to the final result.
