STREET ART #128 – Something old and something new in Kristiansand (Norway)

From time to time I pass by some street art / grafitti, that was painted many years ago, but I take new photos. Other times I discover something new when I choose a path other than the one I usually take. Last month I came across some paintings that are new to me, but they may have been here for a long time.

This is painted inside a courtyard, where there is an old public building. It is not easy to spot this mural if you are not paying attention. The artist is Vlekart. Well-known and very active local artist in Kristiansand. The artist behind this beautiful portrait is Sedin Zunic, also a known, local artist. This mural is painted on the walls of a pub called Victoria Pub – an English Pub in the center of Kristiansand. From the pedestrian street there is a small passage. This passage has been decorated by Zunic with images well known from London. I have taken photos of them before, a couple of years ago I think. Only, I didn't walk all the way into the pub, which made me missed the portrait. I have allready done a post with some of the murals in the passage, but here they come again. These are also new. Walked past them this summer. There were other paintings here before, but have now been painted over with these. Simple in form, but still decorative where they are placed along a footpath.
