When I first saw this rather small animal with an armoured shell, I didn't know what kind of creature that was. We were hiking in Argentine Patagonia at the foot of Mt. Fitz Roy when we met this little guy and a couple of others. We found out it's an Armadillo. He has claws so he is able to dig wholes. A most amazing experience. Non of them ran away when we passed them. I took the photo with my phone, so the quality isn't all that good. This photo is my entry to photofeed@photofeed contest @photofeed/photofeed-contest-wildlifephotography-round-115
