I met Daisy about one year ago. I had recently lost my first pet Chico. He lived a week past his 18th birthday. Chico was a very sweet boy and I will never have a dog like him. I still think of him and miss him terribly. He is still alive in my heart.
And then along came Daisy. My vet's assistant called me and said that this lady is moving out of state and they can't take their dog with them. I agreed to meet with the lady and the dog. I felt like three weeks was too soon to get another dog after Chico passed away, but I still went for it.
I definitely still wanted to be a dog owner , and I was looking into adopting. I did have two dogs set up to go meet and actually one of their names was Chico. But I first wanted to meet Daisy and I never went to meet the other dogs, although I received a picture of her but I didn't like her. Boy, was I wrong.
I brought Daisy home and I knew it was a match made in heaven. Daisy was easy going, friendly and she did this meerkat move on me. She was standing just on her hiney and her two front paws just hanging there. I about lost it then.
Can you spell ah-dooo-raaaa-bleee! That was it. I was keeping her. She made it really easy for me to choose her. She has a heart shaped nose, she has a tongue that hangs at time, she gives kisses and is very friendly and well behaved and is a chubby one. I promised my self that she would lose a little bit of weight and I kept my promise.
Daisy is my little princess and she makes me laugh and smile. She is smart and loves table food. I've learned that her previous family did not walk her much and they table fed her , hence her habits. I broke those a little but if I don't give her some of my food when I am eating , she will "speak" to me . I boil her carrots and feed her that. Chubby as she is, she loves running, chasing lizards and playing. I enjoy her company very much. I am a very proud mamma and my boyfriend calls her tiny turd. Daisy has so much love in her heart for everybody. She is the best little princess I could have asked for.
