The weather has been gloomy but surprisingly my mood's good. Today I braved the dark outside world just to sit down, drink coffee, and think good thoughts. Yessss positive thoughts! You're reading that right. So I brought this book with me I read a few years ago just to check if any of the highlighted text came true. If any of it are actually BS as some would say. Okay so I used to be a fan of these self-help manuals which are frowned upon these days. But I must admit, some of these ideas, if not all, really worked in my life. In my case, I realized that it's more beneficial to my mental health if I rewire my brain to think about positive things more. While still being aware of reality of course and not being completely deluded. Yeah I guess it's about time to make a change in my thought process and how I perceive this world.
According to this book, if I know what I really want exactly, I will get it. Affirmations like if I think I will be successful then I already am. Or that I am shaped by my thoughts, I become what I think and such. There's actually a part where I just have to think about how much money exactly I want to have after a certain period of time. Back then I remember that I was broke due to all my reckless travels and I wanted to get out of that state so bad. I resorted to books like these because I was desperate to change my situation. Because it sucks being stressed about money and being in survival mode all the time. I wished for abundance and a really good life that I truly deserve. Now fast-forward, I actually have this money that "I conceived", even more. Maybe back then I would not have imagined that I will ever have this amount but yeah it is nice to look back at how far I've come.
We'll of course thoughts alone would not give me exactly what I want but it certainly helps. It certainly helps if your mind is in the right place. There is absolutely no doubt about that. I put into action what I thought and things happened, not magically alright. It is just common sense to actually act on what you've planned otherwise all these desires and thoughts are useless. Over the last few years, I've blogged incessantly, got my online travel agency business up and running , survived pandemic, worked, almost got fired, got a new job again, worked harder this time, earned cryptos, received cryptos, cashed some cryptos... and all that you know the deal. Time, resilience, passion, hard work, personal sacrifices and delaying gratification. Nothing is easy. I mean I'm certainly not rich, yet, but there's pretty much nothing wrong in making a conscious effort in gravitating towards the best life that I've imagined. The best life meaning, being financially secured and moving swiftly across the world without worries. Experiencing everything that this life has to offer until my dying day. Yeah, that's my desire/plan now. I just have to think that if I don't get it in time, it's okay, I've still enjoyed the journey. Life is happening.
He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how.” - Friedrich Nietzsche
I've been thinking about the masterplan so much lately and it just helps me push myself out of the darkness. It gives me the WHY to live. Something great to look forward to. Hope. And if I just keep on moving forward while maintaining my balance, I'd be able to get there too I don't have an exact endgame yet because a lot can happen and I'm bound to change my plans along the way. But yeah, I feel like I have to just condition my mind to look forward to good things, change my thought patterns, and my life will be alright. I guess this is welcome to the new ME. Diabolical and dark no more. Sunshine days ahead.
