I want to be happy with what is said about what I have done.
This present moment is an opportunity
To present my thoughts on a blank page.
In this moment, I decide to grab all my visions
See my visions on my palms.
I no longer worry about what my face looks like
I am just focused on what tomorrow will bring me
If I give today everything I got yesterday.
The past has taught me many lessons
Lessons I still have not taken the time to understand,
Maybe I take life for granted only because I still stand and breathe
Smoothly.
I have seen the moon at its fullest and seen the moon half
But never did the moon let its size
Determine the magnitude of its light.
Potential lives on.
This moment I decide to look ahead
And not wish to have anybody standing beside me.
I accept my mistakes and I place them behind me.
I accept my past and leave it behind
I accept my life and I live it to the fullest.
I occupy the space I have been given
With the same imagination I have locked away all these years
I stand naked in my truths
Exposing my private thoughts
To the public.
The same public I ran away from
A public I need protection from,
The same public I want to love,
The same public I know nothing about.
Yet I open my mouth and hope they hear what I say
And wish they had said the same thing.
When it’s all said and done
I want to be happy about what I do,
And maybe someday,
I can proudly say
That I did complete
All the missions I said I would a
