Today i will be writing on some hints about examination.
This will help to prepare the students well before going for any examination
A. WRITTEN PAPERS EXAMINATION HINTS
- Few days before the examination, do a thorough revision, even though this is expected to be an on going exercise
- Discuss problems with teachers and colleagues (Revision questions)
- Have enough rest a day before the examination
- Do not use any drug
- Be at the examination centre at least thirty minutes before the examination starts to avoid confusion
- Read through the instructions and follow them strictly
- Attempt the questions you understand most first, but do not waste your time on it
- Read over your papers and make necessary corrections
- Use your time judiciously
- Mark the compulsory questions and do not forget to attempt them
B. PRACTICAL AND ORAL EXAMINATION HINTS
- practice your skills several times personally before the day of examination.
- Link your practice with the recent written Examination, but not necessarily limiting yourself to this
- Do a thorough revision and also practice with your colleagues and learn to be accurate skillful and creative
- Be observant neat and appreciative
- Use all your senses (eyes, ears, note etc) while doing practical
C. OBJECTIVE QUESTION HINTS
- Try to read selectively deeply and specifically
- Be conscious of the time given for the section
- Try to cover all important areas of your notes
- Tackle the simple questions first before the difficult ones
- Try not to waste your time on difficult or confusing questions
- Use pencils first for circling or ticking the choices of yours
