I have no idea what you are referring to such things as I already explained. We have never left any plagiarism comments that referred to any specifications related to any measurements.
I bring up the tech specs because when I visit hooiy’s blog, the first 7 posts (all tech specs and video) have been downvoted to $0.00. As was his food post down the line after that.
I am assuming the adm downvote was initiated by hive watchers. (If I am incorrect, that is my mistake and I apologize.) But those posts don’t look deserving of a downvote.
Go downvote his plagiarism. (What you shared in your screen shot in your earlier comment certainly qualifies.) That is what you have set up your community to do. But why would you downvote everything else? And even if your answer to this is because of your blacklist, why would you expect other users not to upvote posts that appear legit? Your blacklist is not everyone’s blacklist. Just like if I make my own blacklist or mute accounts I find annoying, you also are not required to follow my lead. Though you certainly can if you choose.
The point should be to encourage folks to do the right thing. Not to push them off of the platform completely. (Which by the way hooiy says he is doing, so this whole continued back and forth is unnecessary.)
As a group you have chosen to take certain measures to achieve your hive goals. But not every individual account needs to follow your lead, nor support your methods. That is the point of a decentralized platform.
From what I understand now, there are no more votes coming from the community curation account to hooiy. As I mentioned before, you may chat with buggedout in that regard.
But please consider this:
People aren’t born pains in the ass. They become them as life’s hardships train them that stubbornness and anger are the way to survive.
While hive watchers downvotes to oblivion the accounts you decide are abusive, there are actual people behind those accounts. People with real life problems, mental health issues, hopelessness, joblessness, loneliness, financial struggles, no network of real life friends or family, people who have challenges that are far greater and more important than whether they are abusing the hive ecosystem.
So if I am aware of someone’s struggles, I am going to take a step back and do what I can to support the human. This includes encouraging them to take the steps that would resolve their issues, as well as defending other’s choices to upvote their content on a blockchain.
With that being said, you have brought the voting issue to our attention and you and buggedout can continue this discussion if necessary.
Separately, you are also VERY aware that we have a community account. You could have posted your initial query in a comment on that account and received my attention by including a tag of my user name. You also could have posted from your own account or in a comment on hooiy’s account. Adding a tag with my user name would have appeared in my notifications.
Your choice to post your query on my personal blog is rude and spamy.
Please take your discussion elsewhere. My blog is my diary of the goings on in my life. I do not want to revisit my personal posts down the track and have to reread this conversation.
