My husband (47 years old) was just diagnosed with ulcerative colitis this year. As a result, we are both just getting our heads around what that even means and could mean as the years go by. At the moment he has just been prescribed a daily pill. I appreciate you posting your experience. I think when a person is newly diagnosed with something (especially something that isn’t an every day disease/condition that you have even heard of) it is hard to even grasp what it means. What it could lead to. What complications to look out for if/when things progress. So hearing the experience of someone with the same thing is helpful. Even if your journeys and experiences are different. ❤️
