I started out as a big fan of the Pom dahlias. Their perfect symmetry was always super appealing to me. But now I am equally drawn to the rest. That place in Oregon is only 3.5 hours away…. And they allow dogs! 😍

One of my old bosses lives on an island just a ferry ride away from Seattle. HUGE fancy property. His family were farmers in a town about an hour south of the city. He and his wife have carried on the family farming tradition at their own home in a smaller way. Anyway they had big dahlia garden at their house. It was so beautiful. And my boss even gave me a bag of all these tubers from their own yard. But then I never planted them! 😭😭😭 So dumb!
