Somewhen in the middle of 2026, We had a new small curation project on HIVE. It was called ELIXIR and a few months later... which is today, There are still some Hivians/Hivers who aren't familiar with this project. So allow me to reintroduce what this project is and why this project might be suitable for some of you.

In short, we can say that Elixir is a curation project created and run by @bulliontools. You won't find anything on @elixir because the correct corresponding account is @nectarbytes. Elixir is the name of their token which you can trade it on Hive-Engine or Tribal Dex (https://tribaldex.com/trade/ELIXIR), our second layer marketplace here.

I do believe everyone here have some questions to be addressed to @bulliontools and from all those questions, there is one same question that I bet all of us here want to ask him directly... this is the main question he has to answer sincerely:

Lol, don't get too serious on HIVE. I do not like over serious stuffs and I like more casual approaches especially when we communicate to each other using Social Media Blog-style here.

So again, I will restate again my intention, that I want to reintroduce this Elixir Project through my post here. This is not an official one, and whatever I will say nor spill out in this post is solely based on my personal opinion.

And you can see above table that up to today, I am one of the top holders of $ELIXIR tokens on Hive Engine. I will say what I think it is right based on my experience involved with this project, and you might say I am bias here as I am one of their big holders at this time. It is up to you to decide how you will take my words here or my intentions in this post.

WHY ELIXIRS ?

This is what this post is all about, right? So let me explain three main reasons why we should go with ELIXIR...

1. IT'S STARTED BASED ON SOME INTEREST, NOT HYPE

This ELIXIR Project started based on some interest, when some people believed that it was hard to start on HIVE if there was no Whale backed them up. This is the challenge of all communities on HIVE, and most of people here choose to lick some whales ass just to make them happy and get some benefit through votes / inflation from those whales.

In the end there will be a big question about which or where is the decentralization on those community because they got controlled by those big guys. You don't follow big guys, you get nothing... Oh you do not believe this? how far can you survive on HIVE if you can not get voted by Appreciator, OCD or Curangel?

So this condition gave birth to an idea about getting supports from fellow ordinary people, small plebs, and even it is some orcas or maybe mini whales who are interested through some scheme or mechanic, which in this term they use $ELIXIR tokens and @nectarbytes account.

So there is no hype here... we do not talk about the best yield stuff such as CUB-FI, UTOPIS, TGLD or any mambo jambo X-strategy that promise you 1000x or maybe just a puny 99x lol. It is not about the gain nor the yield that become the foundation of this project.

2. SMALL-CONTROLLED COMMUNITY

Some successful curation projects on HIVE ended up as getting too big, and they "employ" many curators and in the end we have no idea who get votes and why they get it. There are many frequent cases that some big guys say they hate take-take mentality but they delegate large amount of HP (hive power) and follow those projects which keep voting curators' buddies who have high KE and always take out all the rewards here... A Solid proven PARADOX! everyone knows this.

It is the same reason why I support and participate in @liotes project, because they are small and controlled community. We know who the people behind them, we know who the curators are, what posts they prefer to have, and many more.

However let me bold this one, this is not about which one is right or which one is wrong. This is not about which is better or lesser. This is about preference, and I prefer to go with small controlled curation project.

For Elixir Project, their main community is here: created/hive-174602 . their main goal is to curate people who post there, who vent out their negative feelings through some writings.

3. SOLID RESULT

So the last reason, is very simple... The result! They keep delivering solid results!

This is where I might sound inconsistent, but I believe later you will understand what I mean after reading my opinion here. Most curation projects over as high as possible % of their curation rewards, they want to have an attractive APR so people delegate HP to them, but all just gimmick.

Here is the truth, if you put % of curation rewards lower, let say 90% or 80%, you will get less and you will start questioning yourself why don't you use your own HP to vote your friends, or maybe just to some autovotes to some authors you know. If the project offers 100% of the curation rewards, you will have a big question about why that project doesn't get profit or benefit at all... and the funny thing is that some project with higher % curation rewards give less rewards.

You see, I get 9.177 Hive payout this week and this payout is based on weekly performance. If we convert this to daily based, it should be 1.3 Hive per day. Do you know how much HP delegation you need to send to get daily 1.3 liquid HIVE rewards? 6.000 HP!

How come my 475 ELIXIR could produce something similar to 6.000 HP? the answer is simple, the mechanic or scheme that they have. There are HP delegation which the rewards are halted due to given in ELIXIR token, there are people who want to sell their ELIXIR, and many more.

So we do not need to say about 100% curation rewards are distributed as the dividends, or fixed xx % APR. The results speak for itself. However this productivity will keep dropping either slowly or fast, getting near to common APR of curation rewards. For now, it is great!

THE DISCLOSURE

I will keep fair here, do I say this ELIXR is the best project? Hell no. I do not even know which one is the best project on HIVE as most of them, or maybe all of them keep losing money. Even they do not lose money, they put effort and burn resource for free lol.

However we still stay here on HIVE, which I believe because we like being here. So it is great to have or to be involved in projects that suit your preference.
